The Kraton Product Regulatory team evaluates raw materials and products for their health, safety, and environmental impacts through material reviews, product evaluations, safety data sheets (SDS), labeling, risk assessments, product prioritization, and regulatory tracking, including monitoring new and evolving regulations, for both Pine Chemicals and Polymers portfolios.
Product Regulatory collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders on initiatives to monitor or improve our products’ overall environmental, human health, and sustainability impact. They also collaborate with consortiums and consultants to ensure our products are evaluated for safety and comply with various regulations by market and region. Additionally, the team actively participates in industry groups that monitor regulatory changes and trends in relevant topics to assess potential changes impacting Kraton’s product portfolio and to support proactive compliance strategies.
Product Regulatory has conducted hazard assessments of 100% of ourproducts as part of the Product Safety Codes of American Chemistry Council (ACC) Responsible Care. The team assesses products whenever substance, processes, or regulatory changes occur and communicates the impact and necessary actions with stakeholders.
