SYLVASOLV oils’ high solvency power performs exceptionally well in cleaning difficult hydrophobic materials such as grease, tar, and other tough soils. These oils find use in various cleaning applications, including degreasers, heavy-duty hand washers, tank, and rail car cleaning, and hard surface cleaners.
SYLVASOLV oils can be used as a carrier for active ingredients in oil-based defoamers, which provide optimum compatibility-incompatibility balance for effective prevention and destruction of foam in various industrial processes. Reduction of foam can allow for more consistent packaging weights, reduce damage to equipment, improve production process and product quality, and reduce defects in surface coatings. Defoamers formulated with SYLVASOLV oils can be applied in many applications, including paint and varnishes.
SYLVASOLV™ oils are 100% biobased and are used in various fertilizer coating applications to control dust and provide anticaking properties during handling, transportation, storage, and use. These bio-oils are liquid at room temperature, making them suitable for spraying and use without the need to heat. Further, their excellent solvency power provides improved optionality in formulating, allowing for lower viscosity and safer handling due to their low-temperature properties.
SYLVASOLV™ oils are 100% biobased hydrocarbon oils, utilizing pine chemistry to improve performance and enable a reduced carbon footprint in lubricant applications. These oils serve as additive compatibilizers, effectively tackling solubility challenges and facilitating the incorporation of high-performance additives that are typically difficult to dissolve.
