Q: What drew you to pursue a career at Kraton? 

Science has always been a passion of mine. Upon graduating from college and relocating to Houston, I learned about Kraton and was immediately intrigued by its diverse range of applications and its relentless pursuit of innovation

Q: Can you briefly explain your role and what you do?  

I am a Technical Leader in R&D. I lead a team that collaborates daily with our customers to formulate and develop new and improved products using our materials. I also support new product development, crafting innovative solutions that empower our customers to push the boundaries of their own creativity.

Q: How has Kraton contributed to your professional or personal growth and development? 

I began my career as a lab technician, and through dedicated self-study and mentorship from several individuals at Kraton, I transitioned out of the lab and into a scientist position. After several years as a scientist and broadening my expertise in project management, I was promoted to an R&D Technical Leader position, where I continue to learn and develop. Kraton encourages creativity and passion, which contributes to my leadership skills and enthusiasm I have every day in my work.
